Arch-skeptic Michael Shermer says some good things about intuition in The Captain Kirk Principle - Intuition is the key to knowing without knowing how you know:
"Intuition is not subliminal perception; it is subtle perception and learning-- knowing without knowing that you know. Chess masters often "know" the right move to make even if they cannot articulate how they know it. People who are highly skilled in identifying "micromomentary" facial expressions are also more accurate in judging lying. In testing college students, psychiatrists, polygraphists, court judges, police officers and Secret Service agents on their ability to detect lies, only the agents, trained to look for subtle cues, scored above chance. Most of us are not good at lie detection, because we rely too heavily on what people say rather than on what they do."

Is the mark of a true genius. The knowing without knowing that you know.We all have all the talents, ergo,we can tap into them.

Creator, whispering through our senses, in metaphor, symbol, synchonicity, music, art and endless others. And we KNOW.

...are truly sub-liminal (under the threshhold of conscious/conditioned awareness)but still concrete - like you say, subtle facial expressions, body movements, etc. Even so, there remains a certain percentage of mystery (connections through the Quantum Field of Consciousness?)

Yeah, I don't know why he's saying that it isn't subliminal. Maybe to point out that it is real perceptions, even if you can't necessarily explain where they came from. But to me intuition is often that you don't even know what you perceive. You just sort of know the conclusion.

consciousness connected through the higher self. Sometimes I get these little nifty tunes with really catchy lyrics that just sticks on. But they are nothing I have heard on the radio or somewhere else. And I love music :)

I seem to be getting alot of those lately, coming more often every day.Awakening to the collective mind of knowing, such a joyous feeling to find out I really belong!
