CODENAMED Operation Northwoods, the plan, which had the written approval of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere. People would be framed for bombings they did not commit; planes would be hijacked. Using phony evidence, all of it would be blamed on Castro, thus giving [Lyman L] Lemnitzer* (right) and his cabal the excuse, as well as the public and international backing, they needed to launch their war.
That was in 1962, and the plan wasn't actually carried out at the time, possibly due to a fear of Russian retaliation. See the original document, obtained by the Freedom of Information Act from the National Security Archive. Do you think projects like that are more likely or less likely today under president Bush than they were under president Kennedy?

Even worse, they may have not gone to the moon. As well, they would have no trouble faking it now. It seems to me if you can't fool them with Hollywood bullets, you will enevitably have to use real ones. I was born in 1962, I wonder why, lol.

as though problems, whether on a personal level or on a global level, not approached head-on and with resolve become much more intense, much more insidious. Hell, why not, because not doing anything about them when the opportunity presents itself is the same thing as saying it is okay for it to continue (if we even know). But, deep in my heart, I do believe the Universe/Mother Earth has taught us where we cannot go with power, and that right now at this special time in history we have the spiritual power within and together, to use it in its most positive sense, and I sensed this before, but the reality that it might be more than a sense, I found right here in NCN -- the strengths, the spiritual knowledge, the possibilities, the connection with the Divine Love, no matter how ill-equipped we may be to express ourselves as we evolve, I believe we have no fear of that of which you speak ~ when we have this. Shakti had mentioned in a recent log that cyberspace is like connecting to the Mind of God, and I agree. We really cannot trust anything our governments do, have been doing, or are planning to do ANYWHERE in our world anymore, but for the first time in my life I've noticed I welcome sleep because of the peaceful dreams I have begun having since I came back to NCN after a computer-forced absence of almost two months. Sleeping and dreaming is one of the best things I know, really. Our inspiration for a new world is more likely to come from the sleep state than anywhere else.

that they have been going on forever. Wherever you have human nature you have greed, lust, lust for power, slavery, the 'rights' of the 'rich' as opposed to the poor etc., etc., Kennedy and his whole clan were a bunch of thieves as most all of the American 'polity' have been since the time of Georgio the Washington and his 'Freemasons' came to power on the gold of Europe and the lies of progeny. Bush is no better and certainly no worse than any of the maniacal monsters that his-story has bred throughout the ages. There have always been a band of free men and women, as well, who have not 'copped' to the status quo. Such is the nature of life wherever 'dualism' and its' entropy are found. Yes I also enjoy sleeping and dreaming and realise that this is our primary state...but that is another story, what I would like to share here is that about 15 yrs ago, way over here in new Zealand, I came across what was considered at that time a consipiracy theory, it involved the idea of a one world government. At that time all that stood in the way was the American people ! IN other words, all that was needed was some event that would enable a police state to be called and laws put into place that would efectively lock down the country...it had to be something beleiveable however... I leave the rest up to your imagaination. However the so called conspiracy theories of the last century have mostly been proven fact and in my dictonary one of the meanings of the word fact is UNPLEASANT UNDEINABLE TRUTH !

Vaxen I have to disagree with you on the human nature point... I do not beleive that human nature developed naturally would lead to greed I do agree however that the human conditional response which many mistakenly confuse with human nature does indeed respond to greed, somewhat like pavlovs dog...mostly our lives are lived as a serious of conditioned responses

further when your forefathers echoed those words that all men are free, they held slaves and women where not allowed to vote which makes a mockery of freedom, so what preciesly did they mean by that, I beleive we are seeing what they actually meant....also the term patriarchy means "some men rule over the many and all men rule women....its time to really wake up and stop dreaming nightmares....all in my humble opionion of course
