Dion Hinchcliffe selected the Best of Web 2.0 software in 2005. A fabulous list of great online software. And you probably don't know all of them. My own favorite on the list is Protopage.

OK, there is actually something that is good about windows - I mean the Gates-windows.
Take the protopage - thanks for the tip, very useful - and add it to the active desktop, which makes that web site kind-of your desktop. So now I don't have to start a browser to add/remove items from my todo list, it's always there, right on the desktop.
I wonder if that can be done also with the OSX and Linux desktop.

Ah, yes, I don't know a way of doing that in OSX. That's cool, of course.

Is there a way to avoid login when using Protopage as your active desktop?

...but I forgot how ;-)
no, I mean, there is most likely on the login screen some option like "remember me" and then it wouldn't ask any more - that's how I have it here running - so it must be something like that.

*pruuuuuuuuust
